Cross Country For Son & Mom

We were up early on Saturday because Son had a cross-country event at his school. 

He did quite well with a pretty decent timing that Mommy is proud of. 

The cross-country run was also open to public (parents, alumni, etc) and I signed up to run in it. Might as well la kan, give support to the school.

We later head off for brunch at Benji's to celebrate our run.

A huge breakfast for Mommy so she asked Son to help her finish it afterwards. ^^

Thank God for growing son and his growing appetite. Hehehe

The brunch at Benji's was also part of celebrating Mommy's win. She managed to become champion for Women Open! Hahaha

Very rare occasion as she usually is not at all competitive and would rather enjoy her run in leisure.

Dunno what got into her, when she went and hit 5min plus pace. Adui.

She managed to finish 4th overall behind 3 men and one was a young alumni of Son's school. Ya, it seems that Mommy still can run and pace teenage boys if she wants to. LOL

It was good also that the school had top 10 prizes for both Men Open & Women Open. Got chance la to win something. ^^
