Dinner At Upeh
It was Friday and the family & I were at the Gardens Mall. I actually wanted to eat Nasi Bukhari at Madam Kwan's (and utilise Standard Chartered Bank's Buy 1 Get 1 Free Nasi Bukhari promo everyFriday) but the waiting queue was loooong...
So after walking around, we decided to have our dinner at Upeh.
I decided to splurge on m drinks and ordered Kedondong drinks (RM12.90) *gasps*.
But sedaplah. Me likey.
The two boys were more prudent and rational and they ordered Teh O Ais or something.

I ordered the Nasi Lemak Rainforest with Beef Rendang.
Didn't look all that "rainforestry" to me. Hehehe
But the beef rendang was good and the nasi lemak was indeed flavourful.
And Son had the Chicken Ball Soup Soto.
Upeh's ambiance was nice although service was a tad slow.
For RM90++ for dinner for three, it wasn't exactly cheap but OKlah, splurge once in a while. Eat at Plan B much more expensive anyway. :P

DeleteThe kedondong juice macam harga 1 meal oh. But yeah it's ok to splurge once awhile, plan B pun plan B la kan sometimes. I have been trying to save for travels lately, jarang makan luar sdh kununnn 😂

I would not be able to resist the kedondong drink and I would splurge on that. Worth it since it was good. Your nasi lemak and beef rendang sure looks good.

DeleteI love Madam Kwan's place and the founder herself with her signature hat going on rounds to say Hello. Nasi Lemak is always sedap. I must try their Kedondong Juice and Nasi Bukhari next time.
