Run Like A Finisher, Finish Like A Champion At Melawati Run 2019

MELAWATI RUN 2019 is organized by Kelab Rekreasi Taman Melawati with the support of Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya and the run will be back on Jan 6, 2019.

Melawati Run 2019 offers 15K category (Men Open, Men Veteran, Women Open, Women Veteran), 7K Male & Female Individual and also 7K Family Fun Run.

Registration is already open and early bird rate will end on Nov 15, 2018 and normal rate will apply after the date until its registration closing date on Jan 1, 2019.

Early bird registration fees range from RM50 (for 7K) to RM70 (for 15K) and RM120 for Family Fun Run.

The fees increase by RM10 once the early bird period is over.

While there may seem to be plenty of time to register, you may want to hurry as slots may run out soon.

There are two options for event tee which I find nice, either a long sleeved short or a short sleeved option, by 2ndskin. The colour look quite nice too, don't you agree?

The medal design is simple and clean. Different colour to lanyard to distinguish the categories.

Cool prizes also await podium runners up to 10th place.

I kinda like running in Melawati. It has a nice challenge with its hilly sections and the route is a nice change for me, from the usual Dataran Merdeka or Putrajaya route. Running in a neighbourhood area with shady sections also is great and the air is much nicer and fresher.
