A Fresh Look For The Home, Without Spending A Fortune

We've stayed in our current apartment for 11 years now. 11 years!

I haven't done anything much to update the interior. The furniture are the same ones we've had for years. Years!

Renovation? Much too costly and anyway, can't do much when one lives in an apartment, can we? Hur hur

Fasting (Ramadhan) month is coming soon! And soon thereafter, Raya (Eid!) Gasp! Need to do some decorating for the festive season but oh dear, so lazy to paint the whole house to change its look to make it fresher.

All the mess. All the smell. Ugh. So not looking forward to it.

But then, Mommy always see in Korean movies and dramas all those nice wall decorations in the homes and got quite interested in them.

So Mommy thought, why not get some wall decorations instead? Yup, why not? *nod to self* hehe

This massive Ikea-bought picture has been the main focus in the living room.
We got it so that we could look at it and it'll transport us to the beach and feel calm once we're in our home (or something). ^^
Wouldn't it be nice to put one of these wall decals (click here to check out more options) for a fresh yet whimsical look and change the living room totally? Just by a peel of the stickers!

Mommy can change the wall decals often too as the wall decals are quite inexpensive. Hassle free and no need to bother with paint, glue, and the whole mess that comes with them. Best of all, it can be customized to the size of our wall. Sweet!
Mommy also thinks that it is time to upgrade the look of Son's room. Time to change the anime/tokusatsu posters to something errmmm... more sophisticated? ^^
I bet he'll love these wall stickers (click here for more stickers options). He does love kitties. ^^

The wall stickers are removable, and much more inexpensive; not to mention flexible and hassle-free to decorate than painting a wall. Can even decorate the bathroom with it. Cool!
Mommy's kitchen area is quite boring. Just... yellow...
How about this? Mommy likey. Mommy likey a lot! Plus, they're oil-proof! ^^

Better start deciding soon and get cracking and start decorating before Eid, which will be in July comes a calling! :-)

Now if you excuse me, gotta do some online shopping. ;-)

So where exactly do I go for my wall stickers and wall decals shopping?

  1. This is definitely a wise choice to give your home a fresh look at minimal cost and hassle free minus tearing walls or pillars. You must share the end results okay. We are curious to see the upgraded interiors of a glam home!

  10. When is Fasting (Ramadhan) starting?

  11. of course it's for sure, the house old already sure the wall paint started to fade and you find smudges of dirt everywhere, and sometimes even flakes of the paint coming out!! so Raya is coming soon, it's not too late to do something on your walls of 11 years old~~ :)

painting the walls can be very tiring and not at all cheap.. the wallpapers or wall stickers would be a good idea especially for lazy people, hehe!! and i am sure the designs of the wallpapers and stickers would be a lot more interesting than just plain wall painting..

ah, be it just putting on the the stickers and wallpapers as they are, or being more creative to make your own design out of those accessories, i guess it would be fun and surely represents your own characteristics.. what's more, bored already, then change to a new one in no time, there must be a lot of anime characters design available, right?? isn't that cool?? :p
