A Well Deserved Treat
So after the Pink 50 run on Saturday, I decided that we might as well eat something nice and we headed off to a nearby Thai/Seafood place for dinner.
I was so hungry that hubby and I devoured this fish in no time. I even asked for extra rice.
The next day, we went to Raya Open house.
At my aunt & uncle's house in Rawang, we enjoyed our hometown food. Aserung and my fave - sambal petai. I didn'e even bother trying out other dishes. ^^
And for desserts, my siblings and I enjoyed some really nice durians which our Dad had got from Orang Asli.
I got my run last weekend.
And I got to eat my fave food too.
Happy!

DeleteI love fishes so I can finish up the whole fish by myself.
ReplyDeleteit's good to pamper yourself after a run.. you need carbs to give you fuel and also produce endorphins to make you happy!! hihihihi ^^
ReplyDeleteCarbs for before and protein for after.
DeletePerfect combo! :)
wah the fish looks so appetizing, was it sour and spicy?? I can see you left lots of cili padi there.. and why you didn't eat the tail?? hihihihi
ReplyDeleteSour. Very. So refreshing. :)
DeleteTail later donate to cats. Hihihi
Aserung? What's that? I don't think I have heard it before.
ReplyDeleteIt's an obscure local Pahang dish.
DeleteThe fish just tinggal tulang aje hee..hee... Can see that you guys were very hungry. Wah, durian kampung! You ate to your hearts delight. After all, you burnt a lot of calories in the run :)
ReplyDeleteWe must not waste our food! Hahaha
DeleteWah, durian party!
ReplyDeleteBut not my type of party :p
Yum! Yum! You had nice delicious food and I love Petai anytime.
ReplyDeleteSame goes with durians! I had never eaten Orang Asli's durians and wonder where I could ever eat them???
A few friends highlighted about OA selling durians in Hulu Langat, even the wild durians.
DeleteSo if there's any this year, I'll let you know. ^^
Some one pointed out to me that all the durians I had eaten in Cameron Highlands were orand asli's! That one is counted?? I think they were very good and not so wet.
Deleteyummy treat...durians..... fuiyo... best gila,.only had it once . When going up cameron highland saw some OA selling. Bought a few. Wah lau eh...whole car full of durian smell. Too much. Had to stop at Tanah rata buy a tupperware and a knife. Operasi Durian. Opened all and put into the container. LOL
