A Krabi Getaway

It's our 20th anniversary and we spent it (still spending it as I type this! Hahah), in Krabi.

Hubby booked a room at a rather nice 4-star hotel called Maneetel Krabi Beachfront for 3 nights.

We decided to splurge a bit and reserved the Grand Deluxe Sea View room that comes with a Jacuzzi in the room.

It was nice to take a dip while watching boats passing by and enjoying the view and sea breeze from our balcony.

Hubby got a rather 'competitive' room rate at only THB1,835 per night. There was a mobile exclusive promo at Hotel.com and we got the room at 70% discount!

Imagine, we only spent THB6,480 (with tax/tour credit) for the three nights we stayed there. Plus buffet breakfast to boot!

The hotel location is facing the sea but we were separated from a direct access by the road that runs alongside the beach. Just cross the road, and it's the beach already.

There's also a fitness centre located right smack at the front of the lobby.

But why spend time there when you can run along the beach? 

And I did exactly that every morning!

Drinks area. There are also soy bean drinks for us, already stored in the fridge.

The pool was rather nice too.

The hotel sure has many perfect spots for OOTD shots. ^^

I love the location.

The beach is right in front of us.

Ao Nang Beach is about 1km away from the hotel and we just walked there. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby the hotel. The daily night market is also just a couple hundred metres away.

It's also nearby the Starting Line of Krabi International Marathon and we're KIVing the event for next year. It's on the 21- 22 September weekend this year. A birthday cum runcation trip next year! Wohooo!

We'll definitely stay at this same hotel again if we join Krabi International Marathon next year. No doubt!
