Sleeping Perched On A Hill At Laman Pesona

Laman Pesona Resort and Spa is located in Cheroh, Raub.

We decided to stay there for a night a few Saturdays ago, when we went back to our hometown for my youngest sister's engagement and also my father's birthday.

The accommodation at Laman Pesona is quite unique as rooms are located high up on a hillside, overlooking Pekan Cheroh.
Climbing up the high and steep slope may be a challenge to some guests, but Laman Pesona provides buggy and jeep service to ferry guests up and down their rooms.

Syok wor.
Feeling quite adventurous getting a ride on a jeep. Hahaha

Much respect to the driver for the skillful navigation! Can drive in reverse up the slope too!
We booked the standard chalet.

Much better than what we expected although admittedly, the bedsheets had seen better days. But the room is clean and most importantly for us, shower had a decent power to it. So, puas mandi.
The view from our balcony.

Yes, that's a durian tree.

No, no durian hanging that we can feast on.

This may not be a 5-star or a 4-star hotel, but with a view like this, who cares.
Totally worth the RM110+ price tag on the room.

When we were there, the restaurants weren't open yet. There should be room service that features sate menu (price wasn't too bad) but I was informed that dining facilities will only be available on 1st September which was supposed to be the end of RMCO.

I'm not sure whether they'll extend the closing of the restaurants but I hope not.

  1. Going up a steep hill on a jeep sounds scary to me hah..hah.. But the view is gorgeous. Glad that you were able to balik kampung for two joyous family celebrations.
