Buka Puasa - A Whole Lot Of Durians!
What joy!
Eating durians in all sorts of style for breaking of fast. Hehehe
A huge dollop of sambal tempoyak (fermented durian with pounded chillis) eaten with ulam (raw vegetables and rice). Yummy!
Pengat durian for desserts. Heavenly!
and the best part of Friday's buffet dinner for us, eating durian by the poolside. Durians being opened and served by hotel chef. Lovely.
Durians served on a plate. We just had a few rounds as we were already full eating for breaking of fast earlier but suffice to say, I was happy! ^^
Burp.
Lina! Those durians must be very creamy and bitterish!!! Oh no.. now my durian buds are bugging me!
ReplyDeleteNot bitter. Creamy. Hahaha
DeleteThe hotel FC assured me that they served D24 for the durian buffet. I wish they had Musang King and Red Prawn too. Choosy choosy. Hahaha

Nice to know that you had a nice and happy meal...I have not tried Tempoyak and am dying to eat them with Ulam since durian is my favourite too. Malaysian lifestyle is good for me with the abundance of cultural dishes, food and interesting people.
ReplyDeleteSeriously? Well it goes well with ulam.
DeleteBeen a while not eating any Durian...
ReplyDeletefelt the needs rise for me to get some now....
Enjoy when you do ;-)
