Weekend BBQ Picnic At Sungai Congkak

While others are out for races; be it the Cyberjaya TwinCity Marathon, Twilight Ultra Trail, Salomon X Trail Run, Taiping Run or whatever and having loads of fun this weekend, we only went out for a BBQ picnic/gathering in Sungai Congkak in Hulu Langat. 

Congrats to everyone to finished their run today! 
Thank you PACat Adventure Team for inviting us to join their picnic/gathering. 

They had booked a chalet at Sungai Congkak Recreational Forest (Hutan Lipur Sungai Congkak) for their family and had generously invited some of us for a Sunday gathering. Sure was nice to meet fellow runners for a chit-chat, especially since both Zaini and I don't have any races lined up this month.
Plenty of stuff to eat and all yummy. I just aimed for the grilled lamb, squids and prawns and completely ignored the chicken drumsticks and wings. Hehehe
Good food. Great company.

I learnt quite a bit listening their stories and experiences on racing and training. Even tested a running watch just to see how it feels. ^^

Gotta buy a new GPS running watch soon to replace my old Timex Ironman GPS watch soon and am still weighing my options. 
While the adults were talking and chit-chatting, the kids spent most of their time in the water, having a whale of a time!

They only came out to eat! LOL

    What the.. team pacat LOL! Sungai Congkak got a lot of pacat one, I went there a few times for hiking/camping when I was still a pengakap, closest forest to my school!

      LOL, not since I left school and went to college. I think I can still construct a tent and build some racks by tying up bamboo sticks and build fire... in theory only XD

    wah, Ah Kak went BBQ picnic!! that is interesting..

    I attended a birthday party yesterday night.. haiyoh, it ended past midnight and near 11pm already Uncle felt so sleepy~~ :D

    That's so nice! I especially like the bbq ... those grilled lambs, chicken and etc that you mentioned is making me drooling now!!!
