As a worker or a salaried employees who has been contributing to SOCSO, nothing beats getting a reminder that you're reaching forty than getting this voucher from SOCSO for a free medical check-up and mammogram.
Well, here's to another fun decade of my life. God willing. ^^
Hmmm... I should do a post "When You're Reaching Fifty" LOL! I remember I got these vouchers but somehow I never used them :(

ReplyDeleteWe started to laughing about getting old in the recent CNY university course-mates gathering, and comparing all the behaviors we had now with those young days we enjoyed. The feeling is weird but good. Some of us already achieved our dream, and some still working on it. Yes, we are ready to become 40th, few steps away from what we dreamed off, and hopefully become wise too :)
Weird right? But in a good way.

Where got gone one. Although i prefer not to be in the condition to receive money or assistance from them.
DeleteTwo of my colleagues who suffered cancer received assistance. And i know a few more who got compensation for workplace accidents.
Wow so good!! Govt servants don't have socso.. only hospital check ups and I never like to go there and wait and wait....

Sosco is a priviledge. My boss got refunded for his half year MC for his injured finger. Not bad at all..
