Bring Your Family For Iftar Sesama At Bangi Golf Resort

Ramadan is beckoning and Bangi Golf Resort's Restoran BGR is inviting everyone to join Restoran BGR's Iftar Sesama with not only their loved ones but also friends & acquaintances and the less fortunate.

Thanks to Bangi Golf Resort & Restoran BGR, my family were able to attend the preview of their Ramadan's Iftar Sesama  last weekend.

This time, my sister and her husband tagged along with us too! Thank you Bangi Golf Resort for the invite!

With more than 200 dishes served to diners, ranging from traditional Malay food to Western food, Restoran BGR Iftar Sesama is indeed a feast. And an affordable one too!

For me personally, the highlight is their Nasi Kerabu with organic ulam-ulaman which were picked by the chefs themselves.

Of course, they're especially divine when eaten with serunding kelapa ikan, kuah sambal tumis, keropok ikan, ayam goreng berempah and an assortment of ulam-ulaman such as bunga kantan, kubis bulatm ulam raja, dau selom, kacang panjang together with budu (yummmms!), with lime slices and chillies.

Even the blue of the nasi kerabu comes from bunga telang which were picked from Bangi Golf Resort's own farm.

Just look at the budu I put on my rice. LOL

Over at the main course section, we had many choices to choose from.

We can choose this Nasi Ayam. 

Then there's Ayam Varuval, Kari Ikan Tenggiri and Daging Kambing Masak Hitam Mamak.

Sedapnya Sup Kambing Mamak. 

Oh, don't forget the ever popular Kambing Bakar. *salivate again*

Don't forget your veges too! Must eat veges ya. You need fibre! Hehe

If you don't fancy eating rice, Restoran BGR's Iftar Sesama also offers a selection of Western Food and noodle dishes.

There's Spagehtti and Penne with Chicken Bolognese Sauce or Carbonara Sauce.

And something new for me - Sous Vide Eggs with Espuma Mushrooms which is freshly cooked for us.

At the noodles station we have the option of Ipoh Hor Fun.

And Singapore Laksa.

Something else from the grill is Satay and also Fried Kueh Teow and Mee Mamak.

Still have space for more food? Or maybe desserts?

Plenty of desserts to please the sweet tooth including Spanish Churros with thick hot chocolate sauce, Gelato, Italian Tiramisu, Malay kueh-mueh, and also an assortment of cakes. And of course, plenty of fruits too.

For the preview session, we were lucky to enjoy durians too. So nice of Restoran BGR to treat us with the King of Fruits. Thanks to Durian Hill to for bringing in the durians!

To quench our thirst, we have the selection of Mango & Grape cordial drinks, Sugar Cane drinks, Rose Soy drinks, Chrysanthemum tea, Teh Tarik, Hot Coffee and Tea.

Apart from enjoying good food at Bangi Golf Resort's Iftar Sesama, diners are able to be a part of Restoran BGR's charity effort. Restoran BGR is donating 1% of their profit during the Ramadan month towards Islamic Relief Malaysia (IRM).

Also, as an effort to aim for zero wastage, Restoran BGR with the cooperation of Food Aid Foundation will be donating and saving unconsumed food from the buffet Ramadan for the needy.

Not only that, Restoran BGR with the cooperation of portal F8Buzz.com will be setting up an Iftar Sesama Donation Box for diners who wish to donate food and clothes for the less fortunate and that's something that has not been done by other restaurants before.

For me, I can't wait to visit Restoran BGR and Bangi Golf Resort during the Ramadan month for our buka puasa.
