Another Sizzling Offering By PU Riz

After the success of Food Station Restaurant which is located in Jalan Tun Sambanthan (opposite of NU Sentral), PU Riz continues to expand his food business.

PU Riz, a freelance preacher and actor; is now handling two more outlets located at Quizin Food Court on Level 3, NU Sentral Mall. He is known through the reality show Pencetus Ummah (PU) season four.
The two outlets are Sizzling & Claypot and Thai Cuisine and are operated under Desire Food Sdn Bhd umbrella.

I was indeed very lucky to meet PU Riz at Sizzling & Claypot today at a media and bloggers meet-up.

PU Riz had just returned from performing his haj and is optimistic about his foray in the food industry. He said his father is his mentor to forge ahead in the business world and he learned a lot about the industry from his father.

He admitted that running the two outlets at the food court require less capital compared to a full-fledged restaurant but able to rake in more profit with good quality dishes on offer.
PU Riz may look like he has a lot on his plate already; with businesses to take care of, acting and also preaching - but he does not lose sight on another important goal for him. His studies.

He is studying Law (majoring in Education) and will start his fourth semester next month.

He is also nervously waiting for the release of his first starring film, "Ada Apa Dengan Dosa", which is produced by Pencil Pictures' alongside Wanna Ali.
Back to Sizzling & Claypot, I tried the Chicken Mushroom Yee Mee.

The gravy packs a punch with a distinct taste of black pepper. It is rather different from the same dish that is served at other food court elsewhere.

They are generous with the chicken pieces too.

Yup, I do like it.
The Hot & Spicy Seafood Rice.

Looks absolutely yummy, right?
Another seafood rice, sizzling style.

The price range for the dishes here are from RM10-RM12 which is quite affordable for a KL food court.

So next time I'm at the area (maybe while waiting for the ERL for an out-of-town train travel), I'll make sure to have another visit to the outlet.

Or maybe when I have a claypot rice craving. Their claypot rice with salted fish looks mighty good too!
