Sunday Brunch At Hanare Japanese Restaurant

After my tower run at Yayasan TM Tower Run (race recap here), we didn't linger long at the race site despite plenty of goodies that were available, from the event's sponsors.

We rushed home for me to shower because we needed to head out again, and this time to Intermark Mall.
We're trying out Hanare Japanese Restaurant Sunday brunch!

A good reward for the hardwork I did, climbing 54 floors of Menara TM, no?

We were there just as it was opening its door for the brunch session at 12pm, and there were already many diners waiting eagerly to start their meal.

The restaurant ambiance was nice and cosy, and Hanare Japanese Restaurant certainly isn't a place where you get a few hundred other fellow diners jostling to join the buffet line with you!

No, Hanare has a very classy feeling and you won't feel rushed at all here.

Just take it easy, enjoy the brunch until it's 2pm, which we did!
We first  made a beeline to the teppanyaki counter where the wagyu beef are.

Apart from wagyu beef (which you can enjoy all you can), there're also lamb, salmon, scallops, mussels, prawns, and chicken. After making our choice, then we made a move to the tempura counter and sushi counter.
While waiting for our wagyu teppanyaki.
Love, love, love this silky smooth chawan mushi.

I ordered two for our table and it was later served to us, all nice and hot. They put scallops in it!

I love their chawan mushi so much, I ordered another one before we had desserts.
Hubby enjoyed one of his favourite Japanese dish - oden.
While I was pretty happy to enjoy this gobo dish.

I am very simple, me. Hahaha
And this simmered fish head was sooo good. Its meat literally disintegrate as I picked it with my chopstick but its crispy skin hold everything together. It was so yummy! I wish I had more, but I need to ensure there's space to try everything that Hanare has to offer, right?
Our wagyu beef.

Yums, cooked and seasoned just right. No chewing really needed to enjoy, it was so soft.
The highlight of Hanare Sunday Brunch : chutoro - fatty tuna that just melt in our mouth.

You know the ad "Lemak berkrim disukai ramai"?. Now that pretty much describe the chutoro.

It was a special item and each diner are served a serving of three cuts of chutoro. It's not about the quantity peeps, its about the quality and this is one good chutoro.
Another highlight of Hanare Sunday Brunch is their Hokkaido oyster.

Again, only one serving for each diner but I certainly wasn't complaining.

The oyster was plump and juicy, one is enough to make me happy.

Come, let's watch a short video of Hanare Japanese Restaurant Sunday Brunch selection.

Their buffet spread might not look huge but what you get here are not quantity of the spread offered but rather top quality items that they offered.

For RM180+ per pax, you will certainly get your money worth and judging by the full house when we were there, many others think so too.
We finished our meal with a lovely scoop of goma ice cream.
Thank you Mas and the rest of the staff for a superb service, and compliments to the chef for all those great food served.

Hanare serves authentic seasonal Japanese cuisine with quality produce freshly hand-picked and air- flown in from The Tsukiji Market in Tokyo by their own staff.

The restaurant has an open kitchen with big sushi counter, cosy bar, teppan counter seating, 3 private rooms and comfortable open seating.

Thank you Hanare for the great food and service.

  2. The price shows its high standard & quality but I can eat a lot when a good Japanese buffet serves all my favourites like this one. Worth a visit soon.
