New Toys

Raimie has been a pretty happy boy this vacation. This is the one time he's allowed to use the money allocated to him to buy anything that he wants, provided that it doesn't exceed the set limit. It's not free money though, it's his own savings for the year that we allow him to use once a year to splurge on toys and games. And what did he get so far? A Nintendo 3DS and a few games to go with it. By the way, it cost 15,000yen in Japan; which is about RM600.00 and if bought in Malaysia, we need to pay RM1,139.00 for the same game! Good savings, eh?

Having the games allows him to not get too bored when we take a long train journey while zipping through the length and breadth of Japan. And most probably would help to pass time on the Air Asia flight back home in a few days too.

  3. @HappySurfer,
For me? So far nothing yet. Nothing interest me anymore other than those stuff over at a sports outlet that we found on our second day here. I'll probably spend all my Yen there before going back. ^^

  10. fuyoh, mario 3D!! wow, i like mario, but i am only good enough to play the 2D version, the 3D version is too complicated for uncle, hahahaha!! and it's cheap, so much cheaper to get it in japan~~

  11. @SK,
Well, his pocket money is RM3 which he seldom uses because he always has something packed for recess.

Then, the duit raya and misc cash too so it all added up. And he does makes a concious effort to save because he knows he'll be spending the money in Japan.

His father matches his savings to put in the bank though.

If it comes from Japan, it is cheap. But US games aren't cheap here. "Uncle" SK wanna try and play with the 3D game, ah? See whether complicated or not. ;p
