First School Holiday Of 2013

A week off (the first break for the year, discounting the Chinese New Year break). After a week of tests. The first test for 2013. Two weeks ago, Raimie sat for the 1st Monthly Test for his Sekolah Kebangsaan and last week it was a week of tests at his Sekolah Agama. A total of 8 papers for the Sekolah Agama and 14 papers for Sekolah Kebangsaan. *wipe sweat* Not that the boy looked anything stressed though.

He was allowed to have a free weekend last week, which means that he didn't do any revisions at home so he was spared from this scenario
for a while, at least.

After all, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy...

So this boy had fun too.
He's into chess now. We got him a dinky chess set some months ago, and the boy is still happy playing with them. He is so easily satisfed, unlike his Mommy. heh heh
Trust his Mommy and Daddy to make him enjoy some fresh air and get moving too. He needs to go for a jog too. ;)

He went walking in KL with Daddy today.

Mommy is on leave tomorrow and she is open to suggestions from him as where to go.

p.s. Enjoy the school holiday, to both school kids and their parents too! :)

    1. If you are still teaching, do you need to help out at the shop too, during school holiday?

That would be more tiring. ;)

  9. These days, some schools...holiday also extra class...and teachers give lots of homework. No life lah, poor kids nowadays. Lost childhood and hence all the social problems on the rise.

    1. Of course lah...

Ask most parents. No send to extra classes, later cannot keep up in studies. No A, no good. Shame to the family. xD

Who cares about social ills. Just as long as kids got straight A. Do anything wrong also never mind. AS LONG AS GOT STRAIGHT As.... :(

  10. You are so lucky and blessed to have such a good son! My wife often complained that the kids in her college are spoilt brats!!! I pity their parents!

    1. But for kids to turned into a spoiled brat, don't you think it's due to their upbringing. Either raised or not raised by their own parents?

  11. Your son is so easily contented with anything! He can even play by himself. That is very good lah.

You know how some rotten kids in private schools and colleges behave? They must go overseas for holidays even for 1 week break. Sial!

    1. Again, up to their upbringing mah...
