Silka Cheras Culinary Specials For Buka Puasa
After enjoying the Juadah Silka buffet dinner preview at Silka Maytower Kuala Lumpur, we were back to Silka Hotel for another Juadah Silka but this time, at Silka Cheras Hotel.
From 17 May until mid-June 2018, diners can enjoy sumptuous culinary delights and a taste of traditional kampung-style Malay cuisine at Silka Maytower Kuala Lumpur, Silka Cheras Kuala Lumpur and Silka Johor Bahru.
Starters and appertisers were lemang and ketupat, serunding ayam and daging, keropok ikan, keropok udang and papadum, jeruk buah and assortments of salads. There are also an assortment of kerabu - kerabu mangga, kerabu tauge, seafood kerabu and kerabu daging/ayam.
The soup section featured sup ayam and bubur lambuk with condiments of spring onion, fish cake, bawang goreng, daun sup, cubed carrots, crabstick, chicken slice/meatballs and prawns.
And the main dishes feature several delicious options of:
Ayam masak merah
Daging masak hitam
Ketam masak lemak
Ikan bakar daun pisang
Udang sambal petai
Sayur masak ikan masin
Taufu masak Thai
At the grill corner, we were served with chicken, beef and lamb satay.
And at the carving station, there were grilled leg of lamb, nasi briyani, vegetable curry and acar timun.
There's also an Asian corner serving mee rebus with soto ayam.
Desserts of fresh cut fruits, kueh-mueh, ice-cream and even ice pop!
My plate for the first round - udang sambal petai, ketam masak lemak, crunchy sayur masak ikan masin, daging masak hitam and telur dadar. Yummy!
