We went to KLCC after work on Friday for SCKLM 2018 REPC and after picking up my bib (and met a few friends) plus bought some items at the expo; we stopped by National Cancer Society Malaysia booth at the expo.
Because of friends' generosity in donating for my Run For A Reason (RFAR) this year, I managed to get a t-shirt for my RFAR.
I had pledged to pass the t-shirt to a friend's family whom had succumbed to cancer early this year.
It was because of her, I decided to choose to run for National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) this year.
I hope to be able to do the same next year, and I will run for Hospis Malaysia, God willing. It's because, I believe many patients (not only cancer patients) benefited greatly by the assistance from Hospis Malaysia, my late friend included.
For friends who had donated, on behalf of NCSM, thank you so much!
Online donations for RFAR are still accepted until Apr 30th, and any donations are welcomed, not only for me (as a RFAR runner) but also others who are doing the same.
The runners who are running for a reason and raising funds for:
- Seeing is believing
- Dignity for Children Foundation
- Hospis Malaysia
- National Cancer Society Malaysia

After the REPC, we didn't linger long at the expo so we head out for dinner at O'Coffee Club Xpress located in Kinokuniya.
I had smoked salmon pasta with neapolitan sauce (I wanted garlic cream sauce but habis already).
Son had turkey pasta.
And Hubby had Spaghetti with beef bolognaise sauce.
Pretty decent and at RM21 - RM23.50 per dish, and in KLCC, quite OK lah. Plus it's pretty quiet at the Coffee Club and we had a nice relaxing dinner there.
Tomorrow is RACE DAY for the most happening race in Malaysia.
Good luck to everyone participating!
And for those who aren't, and don't plan to go support - please avoid KL in the morning if you don't want to be stuck in a jam! Hehehe
