It's A Good Month

September is a good month.

I don't care what's happening around the world or what the rest of you all are celebrating for the month but for Zaini and I, September is always special.

It's the month we got married, way back in 1999.

It's the month I was born and Zaini too.

To celebrate... here's some random old photos of us. A walk down memory lane. Enjoy. ^^
Can you spot which one of the boys was the young Zaini?  The cute one, of course. ^^ He was 11 when this was taken.

 Me, at 4. Big head. I know. wakaka
 Me, at 16. With my dorm mates. We just finished rehearsal for a inter-dorm competition.
 Me, with my "hutang". I took my first loan for this motorbike.
This photo always crack me up. That's how it was back then and this is how it is, now. I sulk. Zaini just look exasperated.
 First overseas trip together.
Our wedding. This is during the "berinai" session held the night after the "akad nikah" or wedding solemnisation ceremony earlier during the day.  We had our "bersanding" (wedding reception?) ceremony the next day.
At Zaini's grandma's house in Marang.

Regardless of what age I've turn into, I always feel like I'm at this age on the inside. ;p
 
Happy birthday, US! Looking forward to sharing the old age together... ^^

    You're model gorgeous in that wedding photo! Cute enough in all the others, too, but that wedding photo is a stunner.

    That sulk + exasperation is my favourite, though. I recognized it immediately! :D

      Not anymore. I'm wobbly on the bicycle too!

      Plus I totally stopped riding/attempting to drive a car after an accident Zaini & I had when I was four months pregnant. Still phobia! @.@

      That wedding got crazy memory one. Somebody (a close family member) tried to sabotaged the wedding and stopped my Mak Andam from coming and do my make-up. I had to do my own! @.@
