Meeting Generous Blogger In Taiping

So yeah. I went to Taiping last weekend to run in the abysmally organised Taiping International Marathon. Race organisation was bad but somehow I had fun running in Taiping. And walking. And eating. Not to mention being able to meet two lovely bloggers there; Yvonne and Yan.
Very ladylike pose. hur hur I look so dark sandwiched between these two fair ladies. Shouldn't have spent 4 hours under the sun earlier in the morning. xD

We ditched our husbands and our kids and the two gals picked me up from the hotel I was staying in and immediately whisked me away for lunch. But not before handing over some souvenirs for me and for some very lucky KL bloggers. SK contacted me already. Meow too. How come SP and Tan Sri Anay Kim still so quiet? Waiting for Meow to purrrr is it? Kekeke

Can't remember the outlet's name but Yan or Yvonne knows so can ask them lah... hehehe
Drinks arrived first. Got coconut, cucumber something something and apple juice.
We shared makan and first we got the black pepper udon. Yummy.
Must be healthy and eat vegetables so we ordered caesar salad. Crispy and not limp vegetables. ;p
Lamb steak or something. The two gals so naughty and made me finished this! They helped a bit only! Naughty naughty! LOL
This was the Vietnamese roll, right? Nice. I like this.
and Mee Siam! Yummy and spicy.

We spent the lunch time talking and gossiping about fellow bloggers so if you guys and gals sneezed or coughed a lot on Sunday, must be us talking about you lah! LOL

Then, the gals whisked me to another makan place and we went here
to eat cendol and pasembor
Sluurrrrpppp...
and they even tapaued some cendols and pasembor for Zaini and Raimie too! Such generous ladies. With so much to eat, I wonder how the two ladies can fit more food as they both had big dinner plans that evening too!

I had a great time with the two ladies. Not only did they treat me for a nice lunch and snack; they even got us (me and the HHBC members something too)!
Thank you Yan & Yvonne! Your hospitality was superb! Can't wait to reciprocate when you two come down to KL! As I mentioned, the other HHBC members can treat you for non-halal makan and I treat you with halal one. ^^

Also, I didn't blog about it before but I also want to say big big thank you to Meow and Wenn for their generousity. They kept on giving me stuff and I do really need to do the same for them!
Thanks for the petai, salak fruit, jeruk salak plus all the yummy chocolates Meow! You are one generous kitty cat! ^^
To Wenn too, for always sending me goodies! :)
