Ice Cream Saturday

Remember my post on Saturday about Son & me grocery shopping?

He almost immediately hit the kitchen when we got home that night and got busy.  With Mommy's supervision, of course.

3 egg yolks
150ml of heavy cream
1/4 bar of Van Houten chocolate
Whisk whisk whisk

and an overnight chill in the fridge, and we got to enjoy his labour of love.
We only made a small batch but maybe we'll do more next time. ^^

  4. and Uncle SK also loves the toppings lah!! almond flakes and also crushed walnuts, adoi, so high class lah Mak Glam.. true also lah, glamor people takan only just be happy with ground kacang right?? hahahaha.. Uncle SK prefers nuts as toppings to ice-cream, rather than fruits and chocolates.. and sometimes he does find the people weird to tambah so many fruits like nata de coco and attap chee and canned fruits to their expensive ice cream, errr, is it a little to spoiling the things ah?? :p

    1. Uncle SK have same taste as Raimie lah!

Raimie also doesn't like toppings that would camouflage the real taste of the ice cream. :-)

    2. yalah, we eat the ice-cream and not the toppings mah.. same goes to fries and dips, aiyoh, i cannot understand those people lah, the amount of chili sauce on their single string of fries is so much more in amount and volume than the fries itself dei~~

    3. I also love the toppings! Made my saliva flood my office table!
I always spent extra at Baskin Robbins just to add the Chocolate Fudge and lots of nuts.
